Personalized Medicine

CARE Clinics uses advanced genetic profiling tests to identify the unique genetic predispositions underpinning each patient’s health.  Each person’s DNA is unique to them. The Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms (SNPs) and other “biomarkers” make us who we are. Each aberration is a contributor to our overall health, both in this moment, as well as over the complete arc of our life. By understanding our personal profile with respect to the most important health issues;  immune system, cardio, inflammation and detoxification, we can pinpoint nutritional, dietary and lifestyle factors that give a person the best chance at optimal health as well as help people avoid things that put them at most risk.

The genetic profile and genomic analysis give a patient a look at the most relevant parts of the underlying blueprint to their body.

The various organic tests and other biomedical tests create a snapshot in time of where your body is given its particular blueprint.

Through personalized intervention protocols, goals and milestones, periodic snapshots of biomedical indicators  - for example, a panel of heavy metal levels, homocysteines levels, food and chemical sensitivity levels (Igg, Ige, etc…),  glutathione levels and many others – we can clearly track the progress we are making in compensating for the genetic predispositions found in our individual gene profile.

It is important to note that the genetic profile will show genetic predisposition. It is not a black and white truth that someone with a certain predisposition will contract a certain disease or fall to a certain fatal condition or not. The genetic predisposition interacts with one’s environment – nutrition and lifestyle being two major components of one’s environment. By being proactive in the regulating of environmental factors, as well as looking in areas where a predisposition might point to (cardiovascular, immune dysfunctions, inflammation problems, etc…) one can dramatically reduce the risk that a predisposition will develop into something debilitating or life-threatening before the condition would otherwise begin to make itself known.

In the case of autism, for example, were genetic predisposition and environmental insults have already collided, an understanding of the genetic profile is critical to understanding the best course for reversing the condition to the maximum extent possible.

CARE Clinics embraces the power and potential in personalized medicine to put children with autism and other afflictions on the path to recovery.
