Testimonials from CARE Clinics Patients
AZ was the first child to undergo IV treatments at CARE clinic. At his first appointment he was eight years of age. AZ was assessed as normal at birth. The only post-natal problem was jaundice of the new born. He was breast fed until ten months of age, formula fed from ten months to twelve months and started on regular cow’s milk at one year of age.
AZ received his immunization according to the State of Texas protocol. After months it was noted that his muscle tone was weak and that he was not as lively as a normal toddler should be. He sat up at twelve months but did not begin to crawl until eighteen months of age when some children are already beginning to take their first steps. At twenty months he began pulling himself up but did not begin to take steps alone until forty two months of age.
His first attempts at words, such as “mama” or “dada”, were not until 36 months of age. At 4 years of age he began telling his parents when he needed to go to the bathroom, but would not go on his own and would require assistance even up to the time of his first presentation to the CARE clinic.
AZ was diagnosed with mental retardation, cerebral palsy, delayed developmental disorder before he was finally diagnosed Autism. Early on, his muscle tone was so weak his parents were told he would be wheelchair dependant.
At the time of his presenting to CARE clinic, AZ’s vocabulary was less than 100 words with babyish vocalization. Despite undergoing several years of language training, speech therapy, occupational and physical therapy, ABA therapy and the DAN protocol, AZ’s gains were unsatisfactory. His parents sought IV therapy and came to the CARE clinic.
AZ was found to have multiple polymorphisms, elevated inflammatory markers, and elevated levels of heavy metals. His glutathione, cysteine and sulfate were low as were several amino acids, which are typical findings in autistic children.
Therapy was directed at correcting the issues found, removing the toxic metals and optimizing his overall health. His recovery has been rewarding.
AZ is fascinated with dinosaurs. His parents encourage his participation in CARE clinic’s IV program by taking him to an animated dinosaur exhibit after his treatments. An experience he adores.
Since the taping, AZ’s progress has continued. His voice is clearer, non-babyish and he has entered mainstream education, which is a great accomplishment after so many years of pursuing a recovery and a tribute to his persistent untiring and loving parents.
